It all started with my grandfather, Ronald Henson — a beekeeper from Powell, Oklahoma, who passed his love of the craft down through our family. Growing up, we'd gather around as he shared his honey, and his passion for the bees was unmistakable. His dedication to beekeeping stayed with us long after he passed in 2025.
Wanting to honor that legacy, I teamed up with my uncle — an outdoorsman with a deep love for nature and his own wildflower gardens. Together, we bought our first two hives in Lancaster, and what started as curiosity quickly became a calling. The Lancaster Honey Company is our way of carrying that tradition forward.
